Sabbatical Opportunities

Ripon College Cuddesdon offers excellent sabbatical opportunities for clergy and laity to spend time in the College. With its remarkable buildings, quiet location and extensive grounds, Ripon College Cuddesdon provides the perfect setting for both recreation and study.

Accommodation

There is a range of accommodation to suit most requirements, including en-suite guest rooms, bedsits and self-contained flats. During term-time sabbatical guests can take their meals with students and families in the College Dining Hall. During vacations and for long-stay visitors, guests will be accommodated in well-appointed double flats with their own catering facilities. Accommodation can be booked for periods from a few days to a whole year.

Life in College

Sabbatical visitors are welcome to participate in as many aspects of the life of the College as they wish. They can attend worship in the College chapel and in the nearby parish church; use the excellent library and computer facilities and join in social events. The College values its ministry of hospitality and values its contacts with visitors.

Study Opportunities

You may wish to take the opportunity of your time at College to study. You can pursue your own projects making use of the College’s extensive and up-to-date theological library and computer facilities. You may also wish to receive some individual tuition or to attend suitable short courses and these can be arranged in consultation with the academic staff.
