Rowena has been tutoring for the Cuddesdon Gloucester-Hereford (CGH) pathway since 2013, primarily in Biblical Studies, in which she currently teaches, but also having taught on modules including Adult Education, Theology, and Christian Ethics. She also spent four years tutoring on the Monmouth Ministry Area Leaders training course. From her previous career in Outdoor and Experiential Education, Rowena has a particular interest in teaching in practical and engaged ways, bringing academic subjects alive and giving students confidence to take their skills and knowledge and apply them in their ministry contexts. Her Masters dissertation explored Reflective Practice as a teaching methodology in ministerial formation programmes and she remains passionate about helping students bridge the theory-practice divide.

Rowena is also a parish priest, looking after five churches and a fresh expression in Bourton-on-the-Water and the surrounding villages. In her time off you might find her stand-up paddle-boarding, planning her next sewing project, or spending time with her family.
