10am on Wednesday 6th - after lunch on Friday 8th March 2024
A two-night retreat for those in their first few years of first incumbency. We will explore the transition from curacy to incumbency which may have been especially complex for those who started new posts during lockdown and offer space for people to share their experiences, both challenges and joys. As our conversation partners we will use the stories of Elijah and Elisha and selected poems by the priest poet R. S. Thomas. We will worship sometimes with the gathered community of the college and sometimes as a small group. There will be space to reflect and create with art resources provided for you.
Led by Canon Dr Michael Brierley, Director of Formation, Ripon College Cuddesdon. Please see his biography here.
£150, includes accommodation and meals
