Over 300 people gathered at Cuddesdon on Friday 24th May for a very special Friends and Former Members day in celebration of Prof. Mark Chapman's retirement after 32 years with the College.
The day began with a Eucharist in All Saints' Church with the Rt Revd Michael Ipgrave, Bishop of Lichfield, preaching, and the Rt Revd Olivia Graham, Bishop of Reading, presiding. After a buffet lunch, awards were presented to recent leavers, and Honorary Fellowships were presented to the Rt Revd and Rt Hon Lord Williams and the Rt Revd Olivia Graham.
Bishop Rowan Williams, Dr Paula Gooder and Prof. Mark Chapman then discussed "The Church of England: Past, Present and Future" before an open Q&A session with the audience.
The day concluded with a Sung Evensong in the Edward King Chapel.
